Objectives

  • To represent the entire industry as an advocacy/lobby group.
  • To effectively communicate with all members, governments, the media and the general public and to maintain effective communications vehicles to help deliver the Federation’s messages.
  • To provide educational programmes (special events, seminars and workshops) and materials to meet the diverse educational needs of the entire cross-section of the AGIF’s membership base.
  • To enhance the professional status of members with proper industry-recognised certification.
  • To encourage high ethical standards and business codes in all dealings, with members, the industry and governments.
  • To interpret and report on changing social, government and economic conditions affecting the industry.
  • To recruit and retain members and to manage the AGIF in a manner that will effectively represent the views of all its members.
  • To conduct research and develop, analyse and disseminate information/data related to all operational matters relating to the industry.
